performance shops in the Bay Area Ca?

Is there any good shops that you guys know of in the Bay Area California that work on M4's? Just want some bolts on installed and maybe a jb4. I am new to the BMW world. I have had many modded cars but all are/where American. Also, do simple bolt ons like intake and down pipe void the factory warranty? I know a tune prolly will if they find it. Thanks guys.

Where in the Bay Area are you? There is Griffin Motorwerke in Berkeley, or BR Racing down in Los Gatos. just for reference of course.

What I mean to say is there are a lot of shops in the area that can install BMW parts

I used to take my E92 M3 to Performance Technic in Dublin. Great shop. They've since moved to Fremont.

Vote for Sonic MS. Been working on all my cars for over 5 years. Same techs and really know the f8x chassis. The owner has a fully built custom widebody with pure turbos

Fully trust their work and not ever worried about damages when I leave

Thanks for all the replies guys. I will research all those shops. I am in brentwood nowadays but will travel to anywhere within reason for good service. Have any of you guys seen good results on 91 octane? I know e85 is the way to go but this is my commuter. Thanks again

I've visited Alekshop in fremont - you can speak directly with him, he'll show you around, etc. The real deal.

+1 for Sonic MS. Just had coilovers, BM3, and charge pipes installed there. Was getting daily text and picture updates, very straight forward pricing, and quality work.

Bavarian Professionals in Berkeley have performed upgrades on my BMWs and MINIs for 20 years. They are fantastic! I've also used Sonic MS and they are excellent as well.

Performance technic is a solid choice. I've known their lead tech for over 10 years. You cant go wrong with them.
