I'm thinking that IC percentage should be = 100% on both maps in order to get the full retard on map 1 and full advance on map 2.......

actually the maps I downloaded had UT 15% for map2 which is incorrect, so you will have to change it unless the downloads have been updated since. Ign should be 100% so run the tabled values as is... far as I know. Works the same as older maps, just the tables have been changed.

Dont change any values just run the appropriate stage for your car.

As mentioned before the UT and IC values are different then the old maps so right now you just run the appropriate stage for your car.

+1 . The only people who are going to change map 2 settings are those running methanol. For everyone else just select the right stage file and run map 1. I purposely set up so that map 1 is equal to map 2 by default.

So is anyone running these tune only with no other mods? How do these new stage 1 maps feel? More power down low?

I ran it with DCI only. Felt much better down low and up top. More-so down low.

Few of my friends who have been in the car since day 1 also felt the difference as passengers. I run with methanol now though.

I think people are getting confuse because theres people talking abt setting for non meth users and meth users. Some say 100%IC both maps, some other 0%IC. I say we separate PWM meth settings and non meth setting into 2 different threads.
To sum it all up. PWM users
0% IC
UT 65%
everything else Stays the same right

read post below yours..you are saying to leave everything alone, but shiv says only people should be changing values are meth users..i am running meth..and been running all the aggressive beta maps prior to this one, and my map 1 was left as default but my map 2 was start boost 65 and ic 0. im just wanting to know with my setup should i be running 65/0 on map 2 or the default 14.9 and 100% ic???

As instructed in the Read Me doc, just change start boost% and IC% to 65% and 0% respectively for map2. The rest is like always: set Meth mode to 1 (PWM). Then input an appropriate Injection Mode (just a few % lower than the max flow value you see). And run on map4.

YES!

For methanol users run these settings:
-MAP 4 (Progressive methanol), as before, is fully enabled. With these aggressive maps, we recommend a meth/water mixture of at least 75/25. Suggested Start Boost and Ignition Correction settings (for Map2) are 65% and 0% respectively.

For everyone else leave the default settings.

Sorry for the confusion guys. I dont assume anything even if your signature says what mods you have. I'm conservative (I see guys all the time with mods in their signature and they arent even installed).

There is nothing contradicting, just some people that cant read...

Oh man, now i'm confused. So 0% IC... but then we run stock timing. The 10-18 maps were 100% IC for map2 running the tabled values.

its cool..my signature is accurate lol..i read that part, and assumed i should change it..then i read further and it started something about the scaling change, so wasnt sure about changing it..basically map 1 has different scaling far as start boost at 14.9 and should be left alone..and for meth users map 2 can be set to 65/0..gotcha!!

Shiv, what's an appropriate value? I know I screwed up when I ran my tune but while attempting to datalog before hitting limp mode, I saw a max flow of around 40. Therefore, I figured injection mode would be around 38. Does that sound right to you or do you think I misread my flow or had other issues due to my install error?

0% is the most aggressive ignition timing table. 100% is the least aggressive. Just like all previous public release maps. It's just that now, 0% IC means positive timing (advance) instead of 0 timing offset.

On the newer flow sensors, 40 is about right. So go ahead and set injection mode to 36-37
