New High Pressure Fuel Pump has different design?
Has anybody come across the protocol for replacing the HPFP with the new Bosch one with a different line attachment configuration? Not sure where my yellow hose will go now, maybe its not needed anymore?

Inlet is the plastic hose w/ clamp (yellow line) Outlet is a flared hard line. What are the pictures of? New pump and new pump installed? I think the other nipple is a return line? Been a couple months since I changed the pump in my 335d so my memory is cloudy

Yeah there were three connections on the old pump, dirtier picture is old pump still installed looking down at it. The flare nut hard fuel line is out of view but I have that removed, then there is the yellow line that comes off with the nipple by losening the hex on the old pump, then there is a third connection with the ribbed end just next to the yellow hose connection and I had already taken this off in the old pump picture, it had a screw clamp on it.
The cleaner picture is new pump and I'm assuming yellow goes back on the ribbed connection (has plastic cap 1) and the flared fuel line goes on plastic cap 2 at bottom. This black plastic hex and odd plastic nipple thing on the side of the new pump look like the design changes, not sure what that side port would be for. You pull that yellow hose out at the tee connection and replace it with some 3/8 fuel hose, maybe 6" of it, then use a clamp to secure it at the pump and at the tee connection. That's the only modification that's made. Also be sure you have the special pump puller tool cause you'll need that too. And a 17mm
