Got the Software Update, but no MP3!

I just got back from service for the December software update. I now have RDS function for FM radio but I don't think they added the mp3 function. I tried making a MP3 CD with Nero and tried Data CD's and it doesn't read any of them (Memorex brand CDR)

I think they might have forgot to add the mp3 update. When I asked the manager he knew what I was talking about but I'm pretty disappointed now. Is there something I am doing wrong? I am going to go tomorrow and talk to the manager to see if they forgot to update it.

Apart from the CIP 20 update, there is additional patch for pre-sept models that is needed to activate MP3 capability.

I asked them for the Mp3 update when I made an appointment and I am assuming now that they forgot to add the patch. I will go in tomorrow and try to get it done because I was planning to go away tomorrow night.

I'm just hoping I'm not burning a CD wrong or something like that.

I might have to print that and show it to them as well

Ask the tech to check out PuMA Measure 4283908-03 on to get your MP3 functional

Yeah, me too. I am going back tomorrow to have them try again. What happened to you?
