Do I keep putting money into my baby?

So I bought my 07' E92 last December with 72k on the clock. I fell in love immediately and really wanted to bring out its full potential. I decided to put money into it and went FBO along with cosmetic and suspension mods such as KW v1's, blacked out grilles , tints, AE's and I think it looks great.

I now have 95k on the clock and I'm really hesitant on putting another 2k into wheels and exhaust but I cant help myself when I see other eX's with nice wheels. I also love the sound of the M2 catback for the price.

Do you think its worth it at this point? How many miles can I expect out of this bullet proof 6?

You didn't go FBO if you still have a stock exhaust....

Why nitpick? Catbacks on our (and many other) platforms are simply noise makers or tiny weight savers (from 3400lbs to 3360 lbs woohoo) as you already know.

Anyhow to the question if you like wheels and want wheels get wheels. Same for exhaust. The only reason I can see not to is if you don't plan on keeping the car much longer. I use my car for work and put over 30k miles on it this year. Have 105K and no plans to slow down on mods. I have an old v6 accord but enjoy the 335i too much to drive it.

You haven't gone FBO until you've done something like this. Name: Ricer-bmw.jpg

So you still have loooong ways to go. J/K
As what stanlalee said, how long do you plan to keep it?
Would not be worth spending another $2K+ or $3K+ on wheels, tires, and exhaust, (or maybe a tune and CAI) if you decide to get rid of it after a year or so.
If otherwise, then go for it.

I'd wait until you at least need new tires on your current wheels. That would help justify the cost at least partially. If you plan to stay with BMW there's a good chance you could re-use the wheels, might just need spacers.

It sounds like your not sure if you will be keeping the car much longer.. If you love the car as you say you do man keep it and enjoy it! its a great car! If you plan on keeping it for 2-5 more years then I say go for it. You can always remove them and sell them when its time to trade in and get about what you paid for them provided you take care of them.. (wheels that is)
