Engine Fan Vibrating, Shaking & Ticking
Hello, wanted to know if anybody could shine a light on this issue I’m having:
My 2015 M4 has a what seems like a misaligned or cracked fan, whenever it’s hot out (80+ Fahrenheit), I push the car hard, or turn on the AC, I get a rumbling vibration and shaking from the engine fan. I want to confirm which particular part this is what I would need to order/replace (if anyone has had this issue before). I think it is a radiator fan issue, but want to confirm as the fan itself is close to $1200 for just the part. If anyone has had this issue or knows how to fix it, let me know how you went about it. If you have and know of an OE fan or aftermarket equivalent I can order please do let me know. I have attached videos of the fan shaking after some spirited driving. You can clearly see it moving around and shaking all over the place. Thanks! https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/eilum...x5upv27mf&dl=0 |

I know M parts are costly.. but its a friggen fan. I am really surprised at that cost. Not sure if this is a possibility, fcp lists a few other generic/universal fans of varying sizes with mount kits. Maybe one of those would work as a replacement. They are between $100-200.
