Thumbs up BMW Wheel Gel Rocks!!!

Well I finally cracked open my spray bottle of the BMW wheel gel cleaner.

Totally rocks! I had to do absolutely no rubbing or sponging off. The gel stays on and does not run off the wheel. After 5 minutes you spray the wheels off with water and presto! Very nice looking wheels.

I tried the Eagle 1 tire and wheel cleaner, and it does a good job of breaking up dirt, but fails to stay on the wheel as well as the BMW gel, so you end up having break dust on the areas that the Eagle 1 ran past.

I highly recommend the BMW wheel gel for those who are looking for a good brake dust solution!

Have you ever used P21S wheel gel? Wondering how it compares...

No, I haven't. Sorry. I guess as long as it is gel and sticks to the tire for a long period of time, instead of running off it should be pretty good. After trying the BMW gel I have no reason to try anything else.

What do you guys think of Armor All tire foam? It seems very easy to apply, and I get good results, but you do get some overspray, etc. Any thoughts?

If it's not the same as the P21S stuff, it must be pretty similar.

You had better results with the BMW Wheel Cleaner than I had. I had some wheels in pretty bad shape (pretty dirty). Nothing short of polishing with rubbing compound helped. I dawn washed, used the BMW wheel gel, clayed, and so on. Eventually had to break out the rubbing compound.

wow, maybe I should emphasize that my wheels were not terrible to begin with, I probably shouldn't have implied that it would remove heavy, old break dust. Sorry. I will see what happens if my wheels get really bad.

I tried the BMW wheel cleaner gel this evening with good results. There were some stubborn black gooey stuff on two of my wheels (just picked up last Friday) and it got most of it off - I'll get the rest off tomorrow.

Great stuff!

never used armor all tire foam, but i would recommend finding something that is water based and not oil based. the majority of oil based products are the ones that sling off; the water based don't, but they don't last as long.

I would recommend that you wipe on the shine not spray. That way it does not get on your wheels and make them get dirtier faster. I like the Meg's tire gel. One little tip if you wipe on after get in you car and move it so you can get the bottom of the tire.
