I just saw that too. That's great news for those who have waited a little. It's both the 228i and M235i, plus all of the 4 series too including the convertibles. I guess they'll try and clear the '14 inventory before the '15s go into production soon.

When I made my deal I told them I want any future incentives offered by BMW before I take delivery. Until you take the car you can renegotiate. This is money from BMW so the dealer should be willing to work with you.

When you put a deposit down you lock in the deal at current terms, but you can / will get anything better that comes out until you actually take the car. For instance, a good dealer will do the following:
Lock in at Jan .0013 MF Feb dips, lock in at .0012 Up in March to .0014 when car is delivered You should theoretically get the best deal for the duration of the time between order and delivery, but you need to stay on top of them. |

Rates are lockable for 90 days on the west coast and 60 on the east, if I am not mistaken. Incentives that come out during that time can be used, but you cannot mix and match. IE you cannot do march rates with may incentives. Package deal.

Based on the numbers on the website, it looks like residuals are 63% @ 10k miles. They were 60% last month, right? So if money factor is not changed, these could be really good for those leasing.

Does anyone know how this works?
I have an ED for June, and have yet to pay for anything. Do I simply email the dealer and ask for the 1k to further be applied to my prior-negotiated price(I have >1k in option). |

Basically. Tell the sales person you heard about May incentives and want to apply the option credit for this month. When you do pay for the car, it will be using May's incentives/rates. Unless June has a better incentive, then use that instead.

Is this incentive only applicable to the "options" if you have "options" on your car? Or am I just misunderstanding the name?
