It's going to eventually happen if you park in a public parking lot. Is it always the same car parking next to you?

2X.....

I think the sooner you get your first dent the better you will feel. It will relax you better than anti-axiety medication. .

I understand what you mean, in real life my sisters friend gave up his bimmer because it was causing him too much stress. Stress from the same things your are worry about, dents, vandals, good parking, thief, etc and he lives in LA area. so I can see the situation suits him.

....now hearing it from you, doesnt surprise me a bit. I have a garage at my work. My problem is, after I park it, I always look back and admire her, and really salivate over her. I guess Im just as passionate about my car like the rest, but my stress level maybe a little less than yours, at least for right now.

Maybe you can walk to work? I don't drive to the health club because it's a bad neighborhood so I just walk down. Of course, the club is only about blocks away. Yes, I live in a bad neighborhood.

To me, my 325i is the greatest car on the road! Hey it may not be a $250,000 exotic, but it's mine and it's important to me. I watch where I park, because I don't want anything bad to happen to it...

at least not until it's at least half paid off

Hey, by the way zdognaylor...what happend at band camp?

Just kidding! I loved American Pie. I always thought the red-haired band geek chick was the best looking girl in the movie, and all my friends were like nah, it's Nadia the slovak chick. I never saw the Wedding movie, but I think that Jim kid married her, no?

I hate dings, regardless car value. They are inevitable, but surely spoil the looks.

Most of dings on my previous car were from our own minivan in the garage

Ha! You want to hear a funny story, my grandfather has a pretty big garage with a lot of cars. Well anyway, he used to judge when to stop when he'd back the car into the one parked behind him (in the garage)!

You should have seen the back bumper on that SLS when he traded it in!!!!

Yeah, I kind of figured that. That's the problem when they have something good. They should just end the movie and be done with it, not ruin it with sequels (Matrix???)

Course, I heard a story that anytime a film grosses a certain amount, it automatically gets a sequel

I LOVE having my car.

Can you not set up a simple barrier around your car park? It is your own store so you should be able to do what you want. Can you arrange to park your car at one side of the parking lot so you reduce the risk of the car being damaged?

There may be ways around your problem, but you need to think about it without being angry. Thus far it seems that no one has damaged you car anyway so rea arrange your parking now "before the horse bolts."

Good luck with it.

I understand what youre saying...i even felt that way about my 325i the first 3 weeks i had it. Problem is...after a while u begin to realize that youre caring too much about some stupid piece of scrap metal.

Remember the movie fight club? if you care too much about your posessions you will not own your posessions, but your posessions will own you. Think about it.
