I like the Supra more from those pics.

I want the Supra to have the Z's restrained styling, devoid of silly and stupid fake vents, needless aero, and winglets. THAT would be the car for me. I love everything else about the Supra.

There definitely is a little too much going on with the Supra's styling, but I think the new Z has basically the same silhouette of the old car and a way to squared off grill. I do like the retro rear taillights though. It will probably age better than the Supra, I just think the Supra is more interesting (style, engine, transmission (once the manual is available).

The rear of the Supra is great. The front, I go back and forth. The Z is pretty subdued with a nice homage to the 240. But when you put them side-by-side, neither is a particularly "great" looking car.
But few modern cars because of pedestrian crash requirements and everything else. |

haha..guess it's all subjective. I think the z is going to age perfectly because of it's simple design, unlike the Supra, which I feel is overly designed.

Same here. I never liked the way the MkV looked in pictures or on the road and after really checking it out in person in Atlanta I walked away with a worse impression of it than before. It's really hard to find anything about the exterior that I like and to me it's one of the ugliest sports cars in recent memory.

Was at Imports at Carlisle today...the Z was on display. Absolutely love the look...clean, sharp, understated lines. Great presence.

Pricing is confirmed on Nissan site. $39.9k for base trim is fantastic. But $10k up charge for Perf trim is quite a jump. If only the base trim had the mechanical LSD.

I would get the Sport and spend the $10k extra for Perf trim on superior aftermarket parts. LSD, brakes, coilovers. $10k can go far in Nissan tuning scene.

Extra weight and inferior tires hamper it as compared to the BMW. Rubber is easily retrofitted....weight, not so much.
