who has jb4 without catless dps?

Looking to add JB4 to my car and debating about catless DPs. Already have the catback AA system and my wife is already complaining about how much louder it is (lol) so just wondering if it's ok to run jb4 map 2 without DPs.

Personally coming from an e92 M3 with full Arko i wasnt sure if i would like the sound, But i really like it, the exhaust is fairly load, but with the catless downs and the exhaust valves Closed its VERY Quite even catless.

i'm already running the full AA system and to me it's not loud but to my wife it's pushing it. afraid the catless would be overkill for her since we take my car out on weekends

for 15 years I had two different cars running without cats.

all the 'extra' I spent on special smog tests, etc, etc. to pass bi-annual smog tests here in CA.

I know there's no smog test for 5 years but my exhaust is staying OEM this time. LOL.

As long as you cold start with the valves closed... not bad at all. Valves open....pretty damn loud

Get them, you wont regret it.

Its not HORRIBLE because you have "always closed" valves on the AA rear section. Meaning it always goes through the mufflers no matter what because there are no valves to open. I sold my AA setup cause it was too quiet.

Now cold start on DP, AA mid, and stock rear is super load when it flips those valves open.
