Street/track...cage, Bbk, Recaro And More******UPDATED 7-13-14*********
ok so here i go...im beginning my journey with my new e92 m3...as alot of you know i totaled my e46 m3 widebody porsche grey black at thunder hill last year...car was my pride and joy but was over the top for a car being used on the track...my goal is to take this e92 an turn it into my weekend/track car...car will see the track 2 times a month and will be driven on my days off...so for those of you that track know its hard to balance a nice looking car that sees the track on a regular basis... so i hope you enjoy and check back as the month goes for updates...thank you for your time..
so i will start the thread off with the cage thats going on as we speak...cage will be welded in.. 1 3/4x095 wall DOM..as most of you know a full cage with the front hoop/halo is not safe for street use so ill keep it to a 4pt...cage will be powder coated white to match the paint...

over priced BIMMERWORLD CF COOLING PLATES for the bbk...plates did not fit out of the box so i had to shave them down... at almost 500$ you would think they might fit

ok so i picked up a set of APEX cooling ducts and ran the hose through the guards temporarily...my goal here is to find some kind of coupler to attach the hose from the cooling plates to the hose coming through the guards...my reasoning is i know over time the tires will tear the hose and will need to be replaced so instead of having to replace all the hose i can just replace the hose in the fender wells....
