[MBM340]

M340i in my 2021 -- I do not have access at the moment to use IDrive 7 to change exhaust output. I know there are threads on this that I have read, but I do not see on the Bimmercode site where there is access to that screen by coding.
Is that correct? Does anyone have the coding that gets me to that screen?

Bimmercode has a bunch of items that are already setup for you to turn on/off... IIRC the engine sound options require you to have Expert Mode and make the coding changes manually.

Copy, thanks. It definitely is not in the basic menu from everything I have seen. I guess I need to get one of my tech friends to help me but does anyone have a point of contact at Bimmercode so I can verify?

I just started playing around with Bimmercode (expert mode) - if you guys come across anything cool please post! ... I would also like to code in the engine sound if its relevant to the 2021's...not sure.

That is the million dollar question on the exhaust sound...and I'm not talking about the piped in sound (ASD) I mean can we change the engine note using Bimmercode? Someone here has to have Bimmercode and can look in the expert mode to see if that is an option.
Or are you saying you have Bimmercode and have a 21 but don't see it?

yes I have a '21, and I turned off ASD - thought BMW would have done it for me since they installed the MPE at port! but guess not - its way better with it off. I just started to poke around in expert mode but there are so many options - would be nice if someone had a cheat cheat (i've seen a few floating around but nothing updated for our 21's...)

Copy, like some of the other guys (and I read what they said in this thread and others), I may opt to have the MPE or the other two options are Dinan and AWE. I love the sound of the AWE but it may be too loud for me as a DD. That video of the 21 with the MPE is perfect so I am leaning that way now. Less expensive too.

Let me know if you find anything out on the coding if you would...appreciate it sir.
