What is that interesting attachment upfront on the child seat? I've never seen anything like that, nor can I find anything like that on recaro website.

Is this to protect child from folding forward during impact? Looks nice, a bit confining but protective.

That one is for children below a year. It acts as a belt and a place to rest their hands.

Looks comfy enough.

I love the Recaro mats underneath to protect the seats.

Auto Motor and Sport posted a video with 0-267km. The car shifted later than mine. There was an update to the DCT software and i need another Launch Control video :-)

cant wait for you to try vbox, no need to wait for weather to cool down, just do it whenever you can and we can shave few tenth's of seconds for weather factor. ill be amazed if this could pull 0-200 km/h in 15's with hot and humid weather in abudhabi.

I don't mind short-shifting because it gives me something to do with the DCT and we will have to see some tests to see if it results in quicker acceleration. Meanwhile, I'd prefer a car with acceleration I can enjoy 98% of the time v. 2% in the old model. I can also appreciate that it may have been fun chasing that ragged edge.

Exactly. I prefer not to drive like a maniac to feel the sensation of speed, which I had to do with the E46, and even when I did the lack of torque feel didn't give me what I was seeking. The new turbo setup should offer more fun for most people during the vast majority of driving experiences.

That's exactly why I chose the 335is over the M3. Like night and day off the line.

It sounds good.

But agree about the everyday drivability and the torque. Also, there is always torque to pass without screaming to redline.

It something to be missed from the E90, BUT eliminates the 1-4k rpm weak section of the S65, especially after the Akrapovic.

After reading all the reviews, this is still my favorite. I'm not knocking the pros, but as a future owner, I tend to gravitate more to uae247's impressions since he has the best comparators around right in his garage. His viewpoint is also more likely to resemble my own than a journalist whose experience with the car is limited to borrowing it for a few hours and wringing it out on a track, as important as that is.
