I think the range rovers have a very lame design going right now. No one can choose for you, our advice on this issue is going to be just like that advice you get from friends when you're having girlfriend troubles they tell you to dump that beotch and what do you do? you get back with her. because in the end, you're gonna do what you want and not even advice from jesus is gonna change your mind. . . . . well maybe him.

if you want a fun vehicle and feel the need for a truck, you should stop by the porsche store and check out a cayanne
by you even asking this question I bet you don't care at all about driving excitement and you only care about the "wow" factor of the car do us a favor and buy the range rover |

I suppose this is part of the Doh series of polls.
I of course voted e90. I will admit that I would get lots of other cars, including a Volga, before getting any Range, Land or Free Rover thingies. You wanna SUV-like vehicle that hauls a-- (and not much more of course) get the X5 4.8is. The Range Rover Sport is in fact the new-gen Disco (Oh I am sorry LR3 in North America), pimped to looked like the Range Rover and stuffed with a supercharged Jag engine (which I am sure none of you want to know is a twenty year old design that is getting long in the tooth). The reliability of the electronics on these cars has been nothing if not completely British, which means if you sneeze on one it will short out your battery. As you can tell I am not a fan. |

Range Rover Sport is about $80000 right? Why don't you get 330i and Infiniti FX with 20"(I love my FXXXXXXX~~ but I know the FX is either HATE it or LOVE it) I love the design of Range Rover Sport, but don't think its worth that much money. You mentioned about snow, 20" wheels won't help you with traction. Anyways, if I had to choose between those two, I will have no hesitation getting the all new e90 330i fully loaded. Have you considered new S4? It has plenty of performance, and its "Quattro system" will save you from heavy snow for sure(Great Great Traction on snow/rain). And its almost $20K less than M3. Nice Car. SL-55 AMG??? Are you FU$@ING Kidding me!?That's about $150,000! If you have enough money to afford one, you shouldn't even make this thread. However, If I had that much money to afford one, I'd rather grab Aston Martin in a heart beat. Good Luck making your decision. Good thing is whatever you get, looks like it's not gonna be bad ^^ Cheers.
P.S. Don't get M3 right now...when new ones(It will be pretty much the same price) out you will regret...and when AUDI RS4(Pretty much same price as the Range Rover Sport) hits the showroom you will regret more! |
