Hello, I did a led projector and angle eye retrofit to the stock halogen headlights
I coded everything so the car is fine with all the LEDs.

I have one small problem though, when I was building the headlight I connected the halo lights to parking lights only, the come on with parking lights, and headlights naturaly.

I planed to code car so parking lights come on with DRL lights, so I will have the halo lights during day time as well( essentially the parking lights to be on always). Only problem is I can't find the code for it, I am searching for weeks.

Dose anyone know how to do this.?

I see you're not in the US, so I believe this is solved by enabling "US side markers".

I hope that helps!

Well, I don't see the option for using park lights, I mean I could dig deeper into expert mode, no luck so far

You have wired the halos to parking lights, but which bulb in your car's headlight assembly is responsible for parking light function? I can only see the low beam projector and halos on... The selection of US side markers "turn signals" will activate the turn signal yellow bulb but at half of brightness. Try if that works first.

there is w5w light bulb in high beam housing that is responsible for park lights, it is a eu car. I remove this bulb to not overload the circuit as halos draw 0.5 amps, hence you can't see them. Entirely different circuit than us side markers.

I will put an example of the bulb and mapping output for it I found below, I just don't what value to put there to have them always on.

1. In original configuration was there a DRL light? Which bulb was responsible for it? If there was one, why didn't you wire the halos to that circuit?
2. Why the LOWER LED bulb in your car's high beam housing is off in the picture? Isn't that the parking light bulb? Is that normal for it to turn off when the low beams are on?

That lower bulb is drl, there are 3 bulbs in high beam housing, park light, DRL, high beam. As far as I know it is possible to code drl to be on with low beam, not smart also as it blinds people. My other option beside coding is to use a relay and have it connected to both del and park light.

So the DRL bulb (#5) turns off with low beams, which is similar to halos being dimmer with low beams in US (at least that is on both of my cars, adaptive Xenon and adaptive LED).

I remember reading somewhere about coding the parking lights to be always on. I think that is what your are looking for. This way you will have your new angel eyes constantly on as well, since you have wired them to parking lights.

I'll see if I can find that info...

Hey, I still could not find the thread I'm remembering talking about the parking lights.

However, this post:

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...5&postcount=70

could be helpful to you as it has a great attachment - list of mappings for FEM and REM. I believe this could help you with what you are trying to do...
