£1500 budget and I want a new exhaust system 440i recommendations pls

Hi all I own a 2017 440i and am wanting to get a new exhaust set up with a better sound if possible. I know the MPE is an option but 1k for just a different back box seems excessive.

Has anyone else gone a different route and would you recommend it? I'm not fussed about the warranty so am open to all main aftermarket providers like Remus, or cobra etc.

Any and all advice appreciated.

AWE is popular. I ran the AWE axleback (muffler only no midpipe) and also a catless ER downpipe and I loved the noises it made. Loud from outside under acceleration but quiet in the cabin. The stock midpipe really helped tone everything down a notch.

I was one click away to pull the trigger on purchasing an aFe Power cat-back exhaust last night as they had a 10% off sale (ended now) but didn't because that money is needed elsewhere for a second car soon... damn priorities...

What I love about this exhaust is it has a valved straight pipe, very similar to the MPPSK. Makes it quieter when in comfort and loud when it should be
