Rivian R1T / R1S
So the Rivian 4 motor setup has this trick move.
The Cybertruck obviously can't do since this, but at half the price, it might not matter. Though it also has the polarizing styling. |

Will the Rivian be as over promised and under deliver as the Tesla? Only time will tell.
When would you need that tank turn manuver? Will it be armed with a 30mm cannon? |

Talking about cash flow now, total of at least $6 billion.
And I have to say I love this truck so much more then Tesla but not as much as Nikola truck. Nikola truck is just best looking Electric truck I have seen. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/07/10/...d-t-row-price/

T Rowe Price is the sign of seasoned investors joining the electric vehicle party.
WKHS just received new money from investors. This sector is moving forward and upward. Tesla Rivian Workhorse Nikola It’s getting more real. |

I personally like Rivians design the most. Excited to see all of them come to market though. I would definitely replace my ram 1500 with an electric pick up.

I’m with @mintsopoulos on this one. The Rivian is a more refined, conservative look which is what I prefer. The Badger looks like a Raptor with more lights. Not a bad look and I’d own either of them personally. But if I have a choice (since the Badger doesn’t have a set date yet) I’d choose the R1T. Will definitely consider replacing the x3 M40i with an R1T in 2-3 years.

To me what's happening with these companies is electric powertrain+battery technology development.
Nothing in electric vehicles, outside of powertrain and energy storage, is fundamentally different than in IC-engined vehicles. Examples: steering, suspension, body (interior, exterior), wheels, tires, entertainment, navigation, etc. No new rules of physics are being written, or broken, by electric vehicles. ZF is in the middle in almost all of this non-powertrain tech. Brakes are mildly innovative, if regenerative braking can be considered new technology. It's a stretch to do so imo. Regenerative braking is not new. Electric vehicles require lighter weight to achieve range, this drives some new innovation. But there are already criticisms of Tesla for interiors that are too spartan and chintzy, in the name of weight reduction to achieve range with still-evolving battery technology. So there is a candle to which electric vehicles will be held, when it comes to interior comfort and luxury, in the vehicle segments where this matters. |

Hopefully they spend more into interior aspect. Tesla is focusing so bad in self driving that looks like is ready and very confident level 5 will be ready this year https://carbuzz.com/news/teslas-late...nge-everything
