I'm sure, great car buddy, you can't argue with the C63 coupe can you.
No you can't

Let me know when you are next in TVP, be good to see your car with MPHAS and you can have a go in the 63.

Sadly I'm addicted to the razor edge of the M3 and can forgive it most of its faults when that perfect piece of road appears and it comes alive in your hands but I can absolutely see the appeal of the more relaxed and comfortable AMG.

They have just facelifted it and I'm officially in love with them....

Enjoy the V8 beasts!
Yes the M3 is a great car for sure. And performance-wise there is nothing in it between the C63 and the M3, according to stuff you read/watch on the net, even though the M3 is supposed down on power in comparison. But its a lighter car of course.

As you say the C63 is more relaxed and grown-up. Its not boring by no means but a little bit less asbo.

TBH with regards of the weight of the C63, it is disguised very well and doesn't really feel heavy. Well not considering its about 1800kg. You'd think it would be nose heavy with that 4.0 V8, but I don't think it is - well not like a diesel feels nose heavy.
They've done a marvelous job of the suspension, that's for sure.

Looks great, I prefer to the M car look, it looks more elegant than the M car

Nice car, congrats. I've been trying to find a C63 estate for the last few months with the switchable exhaust and a HUD but they're like rocking horse jobbies, just impossible. How does the MB HUD compare to BMW's?

I like the looks of both the M3/4 and the C63 .... but I just fancied a change.

Had a 335d in 2013 then M3 in 2016 so essentially the same dash for the last 4.5 years (3 series / M3). Time for a change.

I've not actually seen the HUD on the 3 series and my M3 didnt have it so cant comment on comparing them!

But this one has several different displays to choose from. Speed Limit Display is standard and is displayed together with rev, gear and speed. In this one there is an extra AMG view as well. I think you might have to change to a different display to get nav directions, but not sure yet! Still playing. But the display is lovely and clear.

I have noticed that the controls and operation of everything is very logical, sensible and intuitive, works really really well. Sometimes car manufacturers put features on their cars and you have to find odd ways to get to them.

One example that comes to mind with the BMW when you send a destination from your phone to the car you have to hunt around in Connected Drive then Messages. On this Merc, I sent a direction to it from the phone, went out the the car and switched to the Nav and sent direction was on a popup, straightaway.

Very nice indeed - the 63s that I've seen on the road sound awesome when they're wide open.

Great choice

Wow looks fantastic, was in our local Merc dealer over last few days, lots of the range do look great .

Interested in the views on the suspension as I'd love an M3 but it would be my daily driver too and don't want it too harsh.
From the sounds of it the C63 is a bit more forgiving ?

I think the standard M3/4 is actually really good however the comp pack even in the latest 2018MY (which I had) is very firm. I think as a daily it was just too much but this is only my opinion.

The C63 is more like the standard M3/4 but I would say even better damped.

Yes, I'm not sure how a standard M3/4 compares suspension wise as not driven one ...... but the Comp Pack is firm. A little too firm for me.

I guess why in the last year or so why the M3/4 is now finally getting rave reviews (as opposed to the early cars). The CP's are very good according to what you read/watch and getting the best lap times etc... of cars in the same sector. Note that pretty much all the tests you now see online are only M3/4 CP's

............. but make sure you test drive one first and see if you are happy with it!

I hate to say it, but thinking about it now. I would likely be more interested in the C63
