Bathurst 12 hour practice currently streaming ahead of tomorrows event.
Unfortunately unable to attend/officiate this year 😭 means plenty of lounge time. M4 GT3 looking good.

Great race as usual. The internationals were back in force.
BMW were strong in the early morning cool air but the performance fell away as the heat set in (only turbo cars in the field). For the record AMG won Porsche 2nd AMG 3rd. BMW finished 4th & 6th. The sooner GT3 becomes the premiere race series in OZ the better. As an enthusiast it’s refreshing & so much more interesting to watch relevant production based Motorsport rather than the meaningless V8 Supercars rubbish we have to endure here.

Went to the race, was a great weekend. Camped on the hill had beers. I was impressed with the BMW pace early on, was a bit bummed they dropped off during the day.
Agree with your sentiment for GT3 - so much more interesting than Supercars. That sport has been irrelevant for years |

It’s a great race and nice to see more depth in competitors this year, though not back to pre-Covid era yet. So annoying Aston don’t compete in this anymore. They just won Daytona too. Fingers crossed for next year.

I know it was poor form but I did spend a reasonable amount of time in their pits and corporate area. I promise I won’t buy an Audi! Great weekend and great to see such large crowds. Big lines to see Rossi. |

Kind of agree. We have a Aussie GT3 series here actually but it is ALL amateur drivers. It's too expensive, has poor broadcasting which makes it even harder to generate any revenue model.
GT4 seems like a no-brainer and more cost-effective than TCR but RACE/CAMS/MA, imo, would feel threatened. As many ppl have the initial outlay just into their track cars for instance which is the poorest measuring stick.
