I own GT3 991.2 manual as well as bmw M5.

It didn’t stop me from buying M2 comp, which I collected just two days ago.

M2 comp is an awesome automobile and will suit your need in a perfect way!

Go for it! For this price you will get tons of fun!

I was lucky and snagged a GT4 at end of production. It’s a terrific car. Not as awesome as the GT3 I reckon, but a great tool for the track or black top where I live. The famous Tail of the Dragon aka Deals Gap is only 30-40 minutes away. The GT4 is so fun there. Sticks like glue to the road...unless there’s something on the surface. The M2c I ordered with DCT, just for something different. Also to let my badly broken wrist rest some.. (cycle crash)
The m2 will move around a bit. Mostly due to its tires I’d reckon. Plus that huge torque swell that rips them from down low in the rev range.

I think the M2c & a GT car..(any GT p car) will complement each other. Nice stable. Do it

Dude, you have a GT3. The M2C seems so redundant. With those requirements, I'd just wait for the G20 M340i if I were in your shoes.

Would of course always vouch for a BMW M, any M and especially a M2C.

On the other hand, when reading description of your needs, the automobile that came to mind was actually a MB: E63 AMG Station Wagon!!
Long cruiser, hauler, great for winter with winter tires, ...

Ok... putting flame suit on... NOW!

PS: congrats on GT3. Amazing car and color!!

Nothing wrong with that suggestion. I'd even recommend the new GLC63 if going AMG. Good compliment to a GT3.

Ended up going to the dealer to check out the M2. Thought about my uses again, one thing led to another and decisions were made. Ended up with this...

Congrats, the new M5 gets rave reviews, I would say that is a nice contrast to the GT3. I made the mistake of doing 90 mins in a 991.2 GT3 at the LA Porsche Experience Center and now that car has haunted my dreams since. One day I will have it, oh yes I will have it.

I like your style
Impulse buying an M5 is a sign of utter madness or a very nice life indeed. Enjoy!
For what it's worth I believe you've made the right choice. I think it's a much more logical "2 car garage" than the M2C and GT3.

Perfect mate for the GT3.

Its a 991.1 so a PDK in the GT3. Haven't decided what I would prefer in the M2C

How's the trunk space in the M2?
Definitely get a manual M2C.

You can probably fit one large piece of luggage and a backpack in the trunk, or two carry-ons. (I'm guesstimating). Also, you can always fit a bag or two in the back seat.
We were barely able to fit 2 pieces of luggage in our trunk. I would consider 1 to be large and the other just slightly smaller. We laid the larger one flat all the way in the back and then the slightly smaller one on its side in the front. It didn't look like it would close, but it did. Phew!

That sounds about right without seats folded down. Funny enough my buddies keep asking me if I can fit a set of golf clubs in the trunk. Must look small.

You know, I totally forgot to even think about folding down the seats...I didn't even know that they could. Lol

Will look into it have just heard about a lof of disgruntled M3/4 owners.

Good to hear. Nice 991.2. Miami Blue?
I'm sorry, but if you're looking for a fun car, no sane person would choose an M3/4 over an M2, unless you want to shell out $115k for a CS. I had a 2016 M3, and sold it the minute I drove my neighbor's 2017 M2. The M2 is 1000% more fun. No comparison.

Buy a manual. That's the way a small, nimble car should be outfitted.

Best idea would be to get an N55. Better engine combo with the 6MT.

Just my 2 cents as someone who owned both.
