I'm thinking about getting a carbine that chambers pistol rounds. I've been looking at Ruger PC 9 and the Just Right 9mm carbine.....thoughts, any of you folks shooting either of these guns. I am kind of partial to Ruger but not married to the brand.

I haven’t shot the ruger but have tried the beretta cx4 storm 9mm carbine. Its a fun little plinker. Weighs very little, accurate, and little to no recoil. It is well packaged with extra rails for lights, optics, etc. The best part is that it has compatible mags that you can use with either the beretta 92fs or the px4.

I WANT ONE, it’s a 9mm 10/22 take down that takes glock mags, what’s not to like?

Got a KelTec Sub 2000 as my trunk gun. Glock mags, 9mm rds, pretty accurate out to about 75meters and takes up little space.

Totally unrelated, "built" an AR chambered in .458 SOCOM, and shot about 50 rds through it last weekend...bruised my shoulder doing so!

Nice gun, though, and I'm now ready to stop zombie T-Rex's

I'm just joining shooting club, nice place and close to home. The range is only 75 meters so I was thinking the 9mm would be great to shoot and fairly cheap for the ammo. There are a few other ranges a bit farther away that go out to 300 meters, so I may eventually get a .223 as well. I don't anticipate any Zombie T-Rexes but I'll give the .458 some consideration.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm planning on getting a Glock pistol so nice that the mags are interchangeable, and save money on ammo. I wanted to get a .40 Glock buy might have to modify my choice for the sake of convenience.

I already have lots of toys, so I'm going to have to keep the guns down to a reasonable number.....I know that's a matter of opinion but I want to take it slow now that I have to pay for my ammo and guns.

YeAh its hard not to get too many and then you just redefine what that means. I use ar for trunk gun in my cars.

Which club?

I'm guessing Silverdale is the longer range one you are referring to.

Details when you get a chance...

Would a G17 be a better shooter? Why or why not?

Longer site radius will help you shoot better, a bit more weight and longer barrel will help tame recoil, other then that, not really.

What he said, longer barrel of g17 makes it little easier to get on target but I prefer the night sights on the g19x over standard glock sights. Wife isn't planning to carry but if she did smaller package would be bit easier there. I don't like how I shoot the g19 but do like the g17 due to how the gun fits my hand. So the x matches the 17 frame with shorter slide length. I'm not that good with a pistol but put 3 of 5 on 8 inch target at 50 ft first time out. Shot a few drills and did decent with it. Now it's a plant gun in the house and my wife's shooter when she goes.

Interesting...yeah, was looking for a new host since I only shoot suppressed. Figured the G19x might handle better with a can hanging off the end of it compared to a G17.

Then again, I already have a G21 and figured maybe a suppressor-ready XDM or VP9 would be fun, just for variety sake...decisions decisions

I like the trigger slightly better on my xdm that the glock but shoot them roughly equal.

Bought 2000 rounds today just in case. Hopefully it doesn't get as crazy as last time.

Nah it's still cheap, cheapest it's been in a long time actually but I could see a rush in the next few weeks. I don't usually keep a lot of it on hand but I like to have enough to shoot through the winter so to speak.
