Eibach and spacers - thoughts compared to OEM.
I'm considering installing Eibach Pro kit with spacers. Motech tell me they drive almost the same as OEM but I'd really like to experience a car with it installed either as a passenger, or ideally drive one to see how it differs from OEM ride etc.
Is there anybody on the forum with it installed on their M2 that can help. Preferably within say an hours drive of Guildford that could help me see how it compares to OEM. Happy to drive across one day to meet up with somebody. Thanks in advance. |

Test drove an m2 on eibachs. Looked good but drove like a bag of 💩. Stock car setup is very good and swapping springs on a set of so well matched springs and dampers does nothing for the cars dynamics.

How do you know F87 H&R springs are stiffer than Eibachs and Eibach car drives better than an H&R car ?

I've been in a car pre and post eibachs after a friend had his lowered at AP Automotive.
Very hard to tell the difference in ride quality, and even my mate said there's not much, if any difference. |

I've read that the day-to-day driving is unchanged, but it can get a bit bouncy and wollowy when spirited driving.
If you read the suspension pages on forum, it seems to be a shared opinion and has put me off lowering it on stock dampers. |
