My wife is retiring at some point next year and we plan to travel a lot, in Europe in particular, with bikes, as were both keen cycle tourers. Much that I like my 440i, once you've got the seats down and two bikes inside, there's no room for anything else. I don't want to use racks on the tailgate or roof as we need to be able to leave the bikes for periods of time so external storage isn't an option. Looking at Ford Galaxy and Ford S Max as options. Both have cavernous amounts of space and with the privacy glass option, you can't easily see what's in the back from outside. With the twin turbo diesel option, the S Max drives okay for a large MPV. No 440i with MPPSK, of course, but hey ho, times change

Obviously I don't know what your budget is, but you might want to consider a used XC90(new model) they have a cavernous boot especially with the seats folded down. If you stay away from R-Design they ride a bit softer too. |

Bootle would be another good shout, fuck me that place was a war zone back in the 80's. I doubt it's improved much

So Broncho, what's actually happening. Are you really shopping for a new car for you and fibbing the Mrs off with this.
Good man maths move. No beemers on the shortlist?
