Cant wait for your review.

I selected LBB. I had too many white cars in my life. One of my current cars is a white Tacoma.

I have a Sept 24 build and just submitted my October dates for European Delivery. I plan to be at the Ring on October 12. MR lets meet!
Good idea! I have not driven the M2C yet. It will happen soon.

MR.,
Sounds as if you really like HS now that you've seen it out in direct sunlight. Can you describe HS some more? Other members have commented that it has a grey undertone to it. Was that also your impression?

Definitely has a grey undertone, but it surprised me how vibrant it becomes in direct sunlight. It brings out that bright glistering we saw before.

I need to look at it more. The car only drove by, turn around and was off again. I never had the chance to stand still next to it for a few minutes and walk around it while looking at it.

I just wanted to let you guys know that HS is a much better looking color, now that I have seen it live in bright sunshine.

There is hardly any photo so far that shows that really, so if you make the decision for that color take it under consideration.

MR
How close is it to this?

I took some pics at BMW Canada last week. The color definitely looks like silver in person.I would describe it as being a very light silver color. You can see in the pics that it is quite a bit lighter than the silver X5.

IMO anyone who likes silver should be happy with the color.

Look at that TEAL colored car next to that BLUE car.

I have no idea why LBB owners deny that their cars look TEAL at times. They even try and put it next to other TEAL colored cars and say look.. mine is the least teal-looking .. so much so that it's really blue !

It's a changeling color that they love to say how great it looks in the sun, but it also looks different depending on the lighting, and that range goes from blue to teal as soon as a cloud appears.

No one will ever look at estoril blue, or Avus blue and call it anything but blue.

HS- changeling - silver to white
SO- changeling - orange to copper
LBB- changeling - blue to teal
BSM - black - 100% of the time
AW- white - 100% of the time
MG - gray - 100 % of the time

Not all LBB owners deny it.

I have told people it looks teal under certain lighting. It's part of why I love the color so much and why I am not risking changing it to HS unless I see HS face to face and it blows me away.

Have you seen any M2C's with black 788 wheels? What other (color) M2C's have you seen?

This is the only picture of AW that I have seen w/o stripes & Mparts. The grilles, wheels, mirrors, front-end, black parts make the M2C look different to me than the OG.

I don't deny that my car looks teal at times, but I like it, so that's all that matters. I do agree that future M2C owners should see LBB in person if possible. If I were getting the M2C I think I might go with HS silver. I like that it's different.

The photos of it next to an actual silver car finally have shown me that it can look not white ....

It still looks like a chalky silver.

I agree in that it is certainly unique in that the only M2 in that color will be M2 Competition, just like an MG M2 is unique.

You'll just have to practically have the HS M2 Competition parked next to a white car to tell...

LBB is one of my favorite BMW blues. Actually a color I would look at getting as an individual color. There is a reason others have spent $5k for it on other models. It looks fantastic.

Sometimes it shows a lot of teal influence, yes. What's the problem with that though? On the F80/F82 forums people are tripping over themselves to pay 5k for Atlantis which is the same color but lighter and even more teal.

HS is a nice color but the general public will not bat an eye at it.

I’ve always seen LBB in bright sunlight and it’s very metallic teal color. Good or bad? I don’t have a preference when looking at it. It certainly didn’t ever look like straight blue as seen on the pic provided in page 1

HS is really nothing special... yes its an 'exclusive' and 'new' colour, but I see Minis and Mazdas everyday with basically the same colour!

The appeal of LBB is that apart from other M2s, it is actually rather unique.

I like white cars because it looks more brutal.

I have an Mineral white M3 and that s an awesome colour out of bright light it almost looks like a frozen white.

HS looks great in the sun fur sure almost white. But out of the bright daylight it s gonna be a light grey with a blue tone it.

not my liking. I think i gonna regret it if i choose HS.

Thanks for this. So you would describe it as more of a pure silver than a nardo grey with a shine?

Nope I have not seen the black wheels anywhere. That is the only thing I have not seen yet. I took the black wheels on mine.

I was around a number of M2C's today. One white one, one black one, and two HS cars... I have some good news about a sticker people were asking about. I will make a separate story about it.

I here you. HS/LBB/SO are colors that change drastically.

BTW, this image is seriously over exposed. Look at the image's histogram or the hood of the SUV in the background. I could make any color look different with that exposure.

Do you eat the same thing every day? Drive the same route to work? Wear the same shirt?

I think the fact that the metallic colors look different depending on multiple factors is the reason by most people like them - and I don't agree with you on BSM. Had it on my dad's Z4MC and it looked gray, black, and even dark purple depending on the light. It's an awesome color....

I have an AW car right now myself, and it does look white 100% of the time, which is fine. I tend to switch back and forth between flat and metallic colors, because the change is fun.

I do live in the same house every day .. and I don't want the exterior color of it changing in the half light either.

Please don't try feel that I am biased against colors that change. While I love JET Black .. I also love Azurite .. carbon black . Cosmos black.. I just never heard most is the people that have anyone of those cars deny that they are changeling colors.
