My car got keyed. :(
I was leaving school and I opened my trunk to put my bag away and I look at my little shark fin antenna...
Someone KEYED MY CAR. They made the effort to reach into the center area of my car and keyed the area arounddddd the antenna. BITCHESS. I don't understand why individuals feel compelled to damage other people's cars. Grow up. I don't want to tell my parents because then they'll probably say I was irresponsible and should have parked it somewhere else. How do I get rid of it? Is it expensive? |

If it's not very deep a good shop could probably buff it out or maybe some touch up paint. Luckily I doubt too many people will look closely at your roof near the fin so a touch up or buff out probably won't be to noticible.

Oh man!! Sorry to hear the bad news!! Bring it to a body shop to get estimates, shouldn't be too much. I gotta say, I'm so glad I'm not in school anymore, too many crazy kids, too much drama and very little maturity equals trouble. The sad thing is someone(or people) are out for ya and they may strike again after you get your car fixed. Try parking someplace else, it sucks to hide...sorry again!

Some people have absolutely no respect. But that's OK. Karma will get them one day. Someone will eventually key their nice car and they will know how it feels.
Anyway, try taking it to your dealer (if they do repair work) or a reputable repair shop to see what they have to say. Maybe you could also have a professional detailer look at it to see if it can be buffed out with a machine. Although if it's right around the fin, it may need to be removed in order to work on the scratches. As to how much, only a visual inspection will be able to determine what damage there is and therefore how much it will cost. Good luck and I hope you get your back to normal once again!
