My name is Tom, and I'm a heated seat addict

Can anyone point me to the next HSAA meeting (Heated Seat Addicts Annonymous) in the Bay area?

Seriously, I am totally addicted. I never had heated seats before, and now I find myself turning up the air conditioning to get cold, just to feel those wonderful seats heating up my back side . Anyone else as hooked as I am?

I love them in cold weather! When my car has been sitting outside at work all day and it's about 20 degrees.... ahhhhhh. Takes the shivers away until the heat in the car catches up. I have a relative with a bad back and she always gets cars with heated seats and usese them even in the summer - like a heating pad.

I had heated seats in my 2000 323ci and I loved them. I did not get them in my 2003X5 due to having to buy the pkg to get them. But I missed them dearly so this time on my new 2006 330i I made sure to get the heated seats. Full heat gets hot real fast, I mean FAST!!

Thumbs up

I can't wait. Get my heated seats by the end of the month...hopefully. Perfect timing for winter.

Anyone think BMW will ever offer rear heated seats as an option?

Nope, currently I believe the 7 is the only BMW that can get it as an option.

One time (in my VW) I turn on the passenger side heated seats during the summer when my cousin was riding with me. It was around 95 degree outside and I turn it on Max.....ROFL, he was like..."WTF, is hot today!"

I would have much rather had air conditioned/vented seats than the heated seats. I use them very rarely and sweat much more than shiver. However, they do heat up very quickly and my passengers love them.

I love them..but as most of you already know I love everything about my car

They do get really hot - really quickly. They are the best.
