e90 seat mat sensor after replacment

I have used the search engine but realy didn't find much other than disabling it. is there a way to code the MRS for the pass seat mat sensor after replacement using NCS? I have ISTA-P also but want to avoid updating every control unit in the process on a early e90. thanks.

yeah after replacement, the MRS needs to be coded. there is no way to delete it unless the MRS is coded.

Oh that's good to know. I got airbag error and thinking of replacing the mat sensor and I thought once it's been replaced, no coding needed.

Thanks for the info

e90's and I believe e83's require coding after replacement. not sure why but you cant clear the warning/fault without doing so. wondering if its possible to code it to eliminate the fault. I really don't want to program the whole vehicle.

if you replace the mat sensor you don' t need to code the car to eliminate de warning.maybe you replaced the mat sensor with another one dead.
