My M340i has eaten its wiper blades within 6k of being new, with light rain they screech across the screen andbi have cleaned everything etc so fancy trying a different type.

I have read good news about the PIAA silicon ones but does anyone have a part number that definitely fits the G20?

PIAA don’t seem to list the current 3 series in their selector.

I saw a post on a US page that had part numbers that fitted US cars. I don't know if they would be the same on a right hand drive car.

I believe so the origonals lasted nearly 3 years albeit only doing 8k miles a year

Value VF371 fit perfectly.. replaced mine over Easter (77,000miles on first set!)…

I'm looking at replacing my front and rear wipers. Would normally go for BMW but dealer price is ~£65/70 while the Valeo mentioned above is £32. So, a substantial saving...

Only question is, the Valeo are made in France, while the BMW box says made in Germany.

Makes me wonder whether they're really the same exact thing? If nothing else not made in the same factory I suppose...?

I think my originals were SWF, which is a Valeo brand that isn't readily available in the UK, so the Valeo branded are the closest you'll get. I'm happy with them on my G21.

They looked exactly the same to me, I believe they are the OEM manufacturer. That's why bmw makes a lot of profit!

I would recommend these from Amazon I got them last year excellent fit no noise good price, they also do the rear one. Price £26.76 and £9.05 respectively

Indeed, thanks, great links and will order myself too. Normally prefer smaller vendors / eBay, but those are just too good to miss at 50% off the official in BMW box prices.

Had the Silencio wipers on for about a week and they have been spot on.

Standard wipers looked nearly identical and were stamped Valeo .
