Catless downpipe question
Hello fellow members,
Yesterday I took my car and installed a fully catless downpipe along with gruppe m intake. Strangely I did not see any check engine icon on the dash board. I did not touch the ECU. My question is that normal or is there wrong in the installation. Thank you , Gmq |

The CEL normally comes on between 10-30 miles. The CEL will come on unless you install a micro cat.

Will the warranty be affected with a micro cat? I heard that dinan parts are typically the only thing warrantied?
That's the only thing I am worried about with doing anything to the cats |

If you install Dinan engine parts it will also be flagged in the dealer system (your SA will see in big red letters the car no longer being covered under factory warranty for engine/transmission if these have been modified (sw/hw))
