Is there anyway to make paddle shifters work like this....

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=33058

to our 335i with paddle shifters

"Original SMG palddle functions:
Left and right paddles: pull for upshift, push for downshift

New inverted function for left SMG paddle:
Right paddle: pull for upshift, push for downshift
Left paddle: pull for downshift, push for upshift"

"335i paddle shifters
Left paddle pull for upshift, push for down shift
Right paddle pull for upshift, push for down shift"

I'm sure this customization is possible. Simply switch the signals, each should have a negative and possitive frequency, to the action of your choice. Similar in concept to a reversing the functions of a home light switch without fliping over the switch (except light switch has only one negative current that remains).

Depending on the contact point of the signals, this job may be difficult and recommended to a professional.
