Need an android phone for Torque
Help!
Our house is IOS but I want to run the Torque app so need a Android based phone. Anybody know a good source to get a good functioning out of service phone really cheap to play around with? I really don't want to spend a ton of time searching the net and the bazillion posts on e-bay Thanks Last edited by horsepower_and_hounds; 11-28-2016 at 06:52 PM.. |

Just get it from ebay. You can plug it in, so battery life isn't an issue. Pick something with a the biggest screen within your budget.

Depends on your budget. HTC had a decent run with ONE 7-9. Maybe get Samsung Note, it's quite big. I assume you want to mount it for displays, not just to read codes etc. You could even buy a 7 inch tablet if you can safely mount it in the car. And older Samsung Galaxy Tab could do nicely, or Google Nexus 7.

grabbed a HTC Vivid in good condition off of e-bay. Will see how that works. Think the wife has a Amazon Fire but it is so big and do not have an idea how I would mount it
