For those that did ED, a ? about insurance

How was your car insurance arranged? Is it part of the deal or something you set up separately when you got there.

You get 2 weeks of free European Insurance with the ED Program. If you want to stay longer than 2 weeks, you will need to buy extra European Insurance. Maximum amount of time you can keep your car in Europe is like 3 months I think. You can buy extra Insurance at the Welt I think.

Stay cool.

Thanks. I'm not doing ED, but i am in germany and i cannot find an insurance carrier. So i was hoping that BMW had some type of option. My vehicle is just sitting at a dealer waiting on me.
