no matter if it's the FTM or TPM they will call it TPMS for consistency purposes
Ok that makes sense but then how would the system know that the tire is low when parked. The ABS wouldn't be able to sense anything with the wheel spinning. I've seen it low in the morning.

Again...all US cars (not just bmws) have tpms (not ftm) since 2008

My iDrive shows only FTM, not TPMS. Canadian M235i, no tech, no nav, Michelin PSS, rubber valve stems.

Well this is maddening. I have a Jan build (yea, it was the first 228i in Portland) and I don't have the readings. Seems from this tread that it may have been a March build TPS upgrade thing and/or it can be programmed. I feel like a detective trying to solve a murder. Who killed the tire pressures and when?

Anyone get this solved?
I just picked up my 2015 m235 and I have no readings but I have the PSI and F symbols there. I thought when I started driving they would populate but.. not yet.

Ya i spoke too soon. I just checked and now its up there. Although the back left tire shows 9 degrees cooler than all the rest.

Since we're here, what is recommended PSI for Front and Rear for PSS?
