HP upgrade suggestions for 328i

Looking to boost 20-30HP from my car. Any suggestions or ideas without ruining my factory warranty or selling my car for a 335i?? I've tried conducting a and couldn't find anything on this subject.

328i isnt made to gain hp. the amount of money you would have to spend to get 20 or 30 hp is the same as paying for a 335i. supercharge it for 4k lol

I found this site that sells superchargers for the 328i.

http://www.activeautowerke.com/super...46330/main.php

This is exactly what I am looking for.

I over read the website. That supercharger is for a E46 328i.

yes, I was just going to say that

and even if that is for E9x, it'll void your warranty, which violates one of your set conditions

You can always strap a rocket engine onto it like they did on Mythbusters.

This is why I went from my 330 to 335. It is actually much cheaper in the end IMO and like many members have said to upgrade to a 335 than to wait/pay for a non-existant supercharger and other mods for a 330 or similar. My whole reason for upgrading was IF/when someone actually does come out with a reliable SC kit for a E9x it may cost as much or more than the dinan ones for the e46 M3. Then you run the great risk of ruining your engine and bye bye warranty. And all this to make it as fast as the 335 is stock maybe? Not to mention the PROcede, future mods, tunability of the 335.

I knew I should have opted for the 335i. If there are no alternatives to HP ugrade, then I may just sell my car before I deploy to Iraq and come back home to a new 335i from BMW Military Sales Program. Even better, buy myself an 2008 M3.

I'm hoping that BMW comes out with a Computer remap.

after coming out with the performance catalog, a remap isn't such a strech.

Im pretty sure the 328i engine can produce about 15-20 more HP with a remap.

I'll be the little devil on you shoulder. If you can afford it, sell the 328 since its going to be sitting for a year anyways (I assume) during the deployment. Look into both the 335i and M3 and see which fits you and your situation best. Only you know what that is.

But most of all, keep safe and your head down

Even if the AA sc was for the e90 / e92, how is that not voiding your warranty. Thats voiding your warranty BIG TIME.

And M3 huh-why would a guy who could afford an M3 buy a 328 that makes no sense-so stop dreamin bro. And if you get it for cheap through military than tell the country to stop whining about how the soldiers have it so bad-you guys love to reap the benefits but hate to do the work

335i = power under warranty
I had an B5 A4 with big turbo, front mount intercooler, catback exhaust etc...
Blew the motor due to running lean and overboosting, made a loss, but now I'm back with an e92 335i due late June

get the 335i, a test drive is all it takes
