That's why sometimes I feel ashamed of my car with the stigmata that is attached to it......

G35

If the G35 gets released before the E92 do you think that will give Infiniti the slight edge for 2006 sales? And possibly steal some more BMW loyalists.

LOL sharp, you are a good guy in my book.

Couple of my friends in the market for a $40k car right now are desperately waiting for production pics of the new G35 after seeing that prototype pics. That pic is everywhere now. I am one of those people waiting. One of my friend actually ditched ordering a 05 M3, because he rather get this.

The coupe line of the G35 is just plain BEAUTIFUL. I hope they improved the interior though. When I sat in current G35 coupe, interior was so packed and cheap.

Seats

The seats in the current G35 coupe was one thing that really turned me off. Hopefully they got some tips from BMW for the seats too

I own an Infiniti FX35 right now, and while I do love the car, it is not luxury. The interiors are not up to par with the price tag. My leather is crupling already (and dealer says it is normal wear and tear), the alluminum trim gets dingged easily and scratches even easier, there is a rattle in the under carriage since I bought it that cannot be pinned down by the dealer or myself, the seat controls on the top of the seats bolster hurt anyone that is not petite in the arse, and the service costs on Infinitis are a joke.

I love the exterior stylings of both the FX and the G35 but the interior lacks, and lets face it, you do not ride on the outside.

Just my 2 cents.

It does look hot from the outside but I do not think that Japan has mastered luxury yet like the Germans have.

I hear this statement about Acuras versus BMWs before..."Acuras have luxury applied to their cars, Bimmers have it born into them.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Not Edzachery! The G35 coupe currently enjoys one of the highest projected residual values among lease cars. It's also fun.

I'd like to give everyone the go ahead to use whatever racial term you want towards white folks.

I don't care. The terms are only as offensive as you let them be.

Dude! This is America and because our great great great grandfathers* were slave owning assholes, it is acceptable for everyone to make fun of white males and call them whatever name they want while any slight perception of a whif of racist remarks or rhetoric will immediatly and forever brand a white male as a racist KKK member.

* This applies to me even though my father is German and my mother is Canadian (Shocker, given how I was labeled as a 'canada basher' in another thread).

I went to the Detoit Auto show and I can tell you that the G35 concept looked damn good. I really believe it will compete well with the BMW coupe in terms of exterior looks, but as we all know driving dynamics are a different thing. Nissan/Infiniti will surely pack a lot of HP in the new model to entice customers.

You're missing the point. It's about treating people with dignity and respect. Let's keep this forum civil.

Thank you. That IS the point. We don't want to see racially derogatory terms, even if the recipient of it isn't offended (because there may be hundreds of other readers who are offended but don't speak out).

mike20022 - I'm offended that you used the term "JAPS". It justed opened the door for others to use this term that has a historical derogatory meaning.

The gentleman from Germany will yield the floor to the representative from Japan. My vote goes to the G. I love BMW but you have to know when you are beat.
