I ran into an unavoidable pothole that was 10000ft deep and 10ft long by the time I could get out it was too late.

I thought Ohio roads were bad, then I moved here. Damn.

Damn! Sorry to see this happen and that too on a one month old car. I don't know how much BMW charges but you get it fixed for around $150. Did the tire get damaged? I didn't think VA roads were this bad.

That reminds me. I do have BMW Wheel/Tire insurance, but idk if they will cover this because I didn't buy it from them.

When I looked it up, it apparently covers aftermarket wheels too but I highly doubt it.

I contacted my SA. I'll be stopping in tomorrow morning for him to check it out.

They look like your winters, no? Put your summers on and deal with it next year. Btw, some rim/tire warranties will only cover it if it won't hold air pressure. Hope yours covers cosmetics as well.
In any event, VA roads do suck, even after repairs it hardly ever lasts! Good luck with it, & let us know how you come out.

for the tire insurance, last time when I asking refund on tire insurance as I may eventually change aftermarket tire, they say it'll cover up to price of original OEM tire even if it's other brand as long as it was attached to the car?! ? was what I was told when I was fighting for insurance refund. you should find out for sure. |
