535i fuel pump.. BMW extending its warranty?

Sorry folks, I know this might be the wrong forum, but there doesn't seem to be a Canadian section in the 5-series E60 forum.

Anyways, I just read news from bmw blog (http://www.bmwblog.com/2009/03/28/mo...uel-pump-news/) that BMW will extend its fuel pump warranty for everyone with the turbo engine in the US to 120k miles or 10 years. Any chance that this will come to Canada too (the canadian 535i/535xi in particular)?

Doesn't make sense if they don't cover Canada as well.

i hope so.. but then, the oil cooler replacement never made it to the Canadian mass public like in the U.S.
