Auxiliary air con.

Looking for a bit of help.
Not long took delivery of my new m235i.

I always used to get a prompt when switching off the car if I wanted to start the auxiliary air con. Now I'm sure I saw this in the settings and i do remember (99% sure) switching it off. But now with this hot weather I would actually like it. Trouble is u can't find it in any of the menu system now.

Anyone help a guy out?

No. I don't mean the ability to set a determined time for the ventilation to come on and off.
When I pressed the stop button to switch off the ignition on the main display it would ask me if I wanted to start the ventilation. So if I am only going to be a short time away from the car it will be cool for me returning.

Now I don't get that option and the car just shows up the shutdown graphic.

Cheers.

One other thing, if the compressor is driven off the engine then the incoming air will not be cooled once the engine is off. That surely will apply to electric cars only? As I suggested with my first reply it actually states auxiliary ventilation not cooling on mine..

Hi mate.

If you push your idrive controller upwards to reveal the top menu, click notifications, then on the right hand side click settings, scroll to the bottom and it says 'Show at end of journey', make sure Auxiliary Ventilation is ticked 👍🏻
