Simple wheel question...
My e92 currently has the 18 inch 189's on it. Would there be any issues going to the 19 inch 230's?

From my experience, I've had 2 sets of replica 19" wheels and eventually 1 of the 4 would eventually bend or crack.
Downsides are: -harsher ride -handling will decrease -your wheels are more prone to damage due to the shorter sidewall -19" set up will be way heavier However, 19's look great and if you go for a well known replica, replacing a wheel wouldn't be took difficult. After a certain point though, i invested in a set of forged 19's and they were definitely worth it long term, I would have went through 2-3 replica wheels with the roads i went through.

It comes down to what you're trying to achieve. If 19s is what you want, shoot for it. Just don't expect the ride comfort to compare to 18s, not saying the ride will be terrible. 18" wheels also get damaged. It depends on how you drive, the speed, and the pothole or opposing object.
