It's not too early.
I also live in Canada and I was thinking the same thing. So right now I have the stock rims with my 228i Gran Coupe with summer tires. I just ordered a set of M Sport Y-Spoke Matte Black rims for my car which come with winter tires. Once they come in, I'm going go to do a tire swap, meaning the m sport will get the summer tires and the stock rims will have the winter tires. The dealership gave me a discount, but they said the tires and rims won't go on sale this year, but maybe next year. And I plan to put my winter tires on in October, to avoid rush and hassle.

Just read the owner’s manual so the car has flat tire monitor which uses abs to detect the rotation in each wheel so no tpms sensors are needed. You can double check if the oem wheels’ valve stems are metal. if not, it doesn’t come with tpms sensors. Still going to check with the dealership next week.

Just picked up my 228i GC with factory 19" ET54, I find out it's already pretty 'flush' with the body. Most aftermarket with 18x8 ET40 may have a problem?! |
