Hi guys, I've recently been wondering how to make my turbo louder, and here it more often. Ive only heard it a couple times, and it sounds nice. Does anyone have any simple trick or ideas, that are cost effective to hear the turbo more. Or how to get it to engage more often, as I don't know too much on how the twin power turbo works on bmws. Anything helps! For reference I drive a 2020 BMW 228i GC.

I just bought a 2021 and under hard acceleration I hear the turbo coming from the glove box area. At least that’s where I think I hear it.

I think an open air intake would do the trick.

That's probably right because from what I can see under the engine cover, the turbo appears to be in the left hand side if you are looking at the engine bay directly or the passenger seat.

How is that popping and crackling. Mine 228i sounds bad, and even the M235i doesn't sound that good in Canada.

Different emissions regulations change the factory tune up. I believe Canada has noise levels for OEM's.

That sounds sooooo nice, my can just makes rev sounds.. Sooo boring compared!!

Is this changeable?
