Only one reverse light?
This is normal right? Because car is too new for it go out…
EDIT: When you put the car in reverse and backing up, is there only one operating white light that turns on on the rear? Last edited by lilziki; 10-07-2021 at 05:44 AM.. |

Only one reversing light on my 2021 218i GC sport auto,
To be honest I was unaware of this until earlier this week when a neighbour who has 218i GC m sport asked me to check my car as he had noticed his had only one reversing light. You live and learn!

Pull in front of a strip mall or something similar that has large glass store windows and back your car it and you will be able to see what you have.

Hey all,
This is more than likely case of regional requirements. Those of us in the US do not get rear fog light, where they are required in other countries. With op giving model as 218, clearly not a US spec car. Can any non-US owners confirm? |

Sydney@Australia 218i GC
Hi,
I just traded in my X1 for a 218i GC M Sport and I also noticed there is only one reverse light at the back. Similar to the others that I was told by another person when I parked. This is my first car that only have 1 reverse light ! |

That’s seems a bit annoying, I’m just about to order one and this has p’ed me off. Obviously it’s not a dealbreaker but just makes me question BMWs decisions, I also don’t like the lack of a rear wiper

In order to add more light to the single reverse one, does anyone know if the door handle lights can be activated, when selecting reverse gear?
I had managed to have that feature on my F30ages ago, using Bimmercode (with Vgate's OBD wifi tool) -but now our F44 GC hasn't got that feature listed in Bimmercode at all. (In fact there's very little listed in Bimmercode) |
