Rear headrest removal?

Hi all.

Does anyone know how to remove the rear headrest on a 2021 230i?

Haven’t heard of the 230i but I actually considered it for the 2 gran coupe. To get a bit more visibility in the rear.

Your included manual is an excellent source of information. You even have an electronic version installed within the entertainment system where you could type in 'rear headrests' to find the answer:

This is how the head rest look like. Doesnt seem to have a button on the side like above.

Maybe your US build versions are not removable, check your manual for details..

THEY ARE REMOVABLE I HAVE A 228i GC in Canada and I just have to press the buttons on both sides and it comes right out. It's exactly like the manual photo the other person posted.

I think he may have a F22. Aka 2 series coupe.

You will want to check over in that group. I had a 2015 2 series coupe, and had the buttons to remove rear headrests.
