Front Protective Skid Plate?
I apologize if this has ever been discussed before, but has any vendor ever considered producing a protective skid plate for the front bumper of our cars? On my GT-R it has been a saver on more than once occasion and has really been money well spent. Granted, I know the gt-r piece is much less complicated and flat all around, but I assume the complexity of this would be priced accordingly. It may not even be something this crowd would be interested in (or it may be cost prohibitive), I just know even with my KW HAS about as high as we can get the front at the moment, I'm still at risk for continuous scraping thanks to our inclines and fantastic roads here in Tulsa.
thanks, rm

250 bucks not bad....http://www.stillen.com/product/skid-...217-39022.html
Seeing as its made of polyurethane it should be able to be molded/formed to fit the M3/4 bumper. It looks much less complicated to manufacture than a front lip plus you don't have to deal with the perfection of a finished side, so I would think it could be offered for a similar price point. Would be a great product to offer! |
