Need HELP Replacing H8 Bulb *noob*

I replaced my H8 bulbs to Arc Angels the other day and I noticed one of the sides was brighter than the other. Upon inspection the passenger side bulb wasn't in all of way. I took it out and I am having trouble getting it in properly.

I tried to search for a DIY and couldn't find one. I looked at the BMW manual but it just says ''turn until bulb goes in'' heh..

Any advice please before I smash it?

Passenger side is the harder of the two. Its the exact opposite of the driver, so if you can kinda match up how the driver side went in, do the same on the passenger but reversed. I'm not sure if you wanna take the driver side out again though just to see how it went in. Good Luck!

There are three little prongs coming out of the base of the H8 bulb, these have to first fit into the corresponding notches in the socket to go in, next you have to turn the bulb (i'm not sure which way), so it locks into place. I could always help you in person if you need it, just let me know. I can't guarantee I'll get it in one shot but I've definitely done this a couple of times before.

When inserting the LUX H8, there are 3 tabs that need to line up. The 3 tabs form an upside down shape of a “T”. It is helpful to use a marker and put a line or arrow on the base of the LUX unit to figure out which direction is top. This will save you time in installing the unit.

LOL, I actually followed these instructions and even marked the top.. I was getting closer but no luck yet... I'll try some more tomorrow, I think I was just getting too damn frustrated with it today.

I work out in Farmingdale off 110, that's pretty close to Rockville Centre isn't it?

Yeah Farmingdale isn't too far. What time are you free maybe I could meet up with you. It helps that I don't have huge hands too, LOL

Usually I take lunch anywhere from 12-2 PM. I can really go at anytime during the afternoon though. I am going to try to get the bulb in when I get home tonight but I'll shoot you a PM if I can't do it!

I know the installation, I just had a tough time lining up the bulb within the tight space.

I found this to be very useful:
