Help for friend with HID's

My buddy has a e90 without HID's and he was looking at this set to replace them http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...Q5fAccessories
Now I haven't looked into anything about them but he wanted me to post on here to see if they will work without errors because in there somewhere it says ... * Although we have included xenon HID system that are specifically made for European vehicles which in 95%, no error after install. But there are chances that you will receive error after install, which you have 2 options, one is to get HID error canceller separately or have the dealer reprogram your car to xenon mode.* ... Any help would be appreciated

@ OP: Those are the Depo P90 headlamp housings I'd get if I didn't have some already. I will eventually upgrade my AE rings to the full UHP LEDs like the ones on the auction.

Errors, you're asking about them. Well from all the research and discussions, it seems to come down to this.

It's a hit or miss if you will have errors or not. Most errors are only on 06 E90 platforms, I have an a 04/07 build and I didn't have errors with DDM tuning's HID kit, but I did have flickering, so I had to put an error canceler on the light kit. I'm reading the coding thread and seems you can code the car to tell it you have xenons/HIDs, but you will lose your high beam function.

If that kit comes with CANBUS friendly HIDs and his car is an 07 or later, chances are that he won't have any errors, otherwise he may need to get it coded.
