Does anybody know a way to code US lights on a EU/German version of the F40?

I appreciate a lot of what has been talked about in this thread is mainly for enhancing the 135i but I have a 21 plate 120d xdrive auto with comfort pack etc, does anyone know if any of this coding would work on mine? Changing the way the gearbox and engine behaves and also dash set up? Don’t like to repeat previous posts but nobody has mentioned anything about the old dirty diesel!

I hope it's useful. However if you are looking for engine /transmission enhancements then the normal coding systems (BimmerCode, Bimmer Utility, E-Sys) won't really help. You'd need specialist assistance.

Yes very useful thank you, I take it the OBD readers recommended by BimmerCode will give access to the options listed on their site?

Yes. I'd recommend using ENET with an Ethernet adapter for your iPhone or Android. It's generally cheaper, faster and more complete than some of the other OBD connectors. It also supports BimmerLink if you want that app as well.
