Coasting/sailing
Hi,
Does everyone has this option in the Comfort mode? I'm thinking about it that this is not standard in comfort. In F models this was present in the ECO-PRO mode, which had a switch to turn it on or off. In de G models I can't seem to find it. Any love here? |

I think it's only in Eco mode, but think I read somewhere that if you have the paddles, a quick double pull on the up shift can switch to coasting in Comfort.

Hi,
I have enabled the “sailing” via coding so I can uncheck that. So far so good! But the weird thing is that the settings do not save ? Everytime the car get’s stopped and locked, the tickbox is back checked. Last edited by Ibo24; 04-12-2022 at 02:52 PM.. |

Coasting works on mine in Comfort mode. A little blue car icon shows on the digital display to show its active. Won’t work in certain circumstances though, like on the run up to a roundabout or if there is a car in front

Did your car got an update recently?
I never got that blue icon showing it’s active. |

It's had an update but even from new it coasted like this. At first I didnt know what the blue car icon was until I checked the online handbook. Works really well, there's a slight hill of about a mile near me that it will coast down all the way until I apply the brakes for the 30mph speed limit

I’dd still like this to be disabled.
Untill I get Esys to work with the EGS6 transmission I’ll have to do it always by myself using the car settings button I guess. |
