AWD now showing in German configurators for €4K
People on motor-talk.de report that they saw the AWD version in the dealer configurators with a 4000 EUR (excluding VAT) markup over the RWD version, see e.g. (in german) https://www.motor-talk.de/forum/bmw-...6#post60292018
This has not been independently confirmed so far I think. |

makes sense... In Canada for being a brand new generation the RWD car is priced very competitively vs the competition which are all older. Guess they are making it in back in the AWD versions that will occupy the majority (?) of order fills this gen

The G8C M3/4 went through a major price hike in Canada. Speccing a M4C to my liking (not fully loaded) comes to ~35% more than what I paid for my 2015 DCT M4 back in 2014

Either their old fx hedges rolled off or more likely they are just trying to claw back some revenues any way they can. suppose that for ~100k cad well equipped, closest competition don't look as appealing as G80/2

I was hoping AWD would cost $3k or less in the US market... I know different markets have different pricing structures but $4k is more likely now IMO

Theres definitely a lot more going on than in the M340i xDrive so I would think it would be more but hopefully not double. I am stuck between getting on the list for a C8 and buying a winter car and an AWD G80 and that increase in xDrive price might be the nail in the coffin lol

I think the awd package being under $4000 for the G80 will probably be the deciding factor for me...no idea if they'll throw in some kind of high performance all season tires though I've argued with far too many people about the g80 front end to start all over from scratch and argue about the c8 rear end haha |
